Trogir is a walled stone island twenty minutes west of Split, small enough to see in a morning and old enough to fill it. These are the best ways to visit: guided walks past the cathedral and the Kamerlengo fortress, and the boat days that fold Trogir into a wider island run.

“If you are under 25 and into techno music at loud volumes and white knuckle wave runner rides across other boats’ wake, this is the trip for you. However, if you look for a calm cruise to enjoy the sea and coast you should book something else. Moreover it is advertised as a speedboat trip. An inflatable boat is not a speedboat. But a large inflatable boat can ride smooth and pleasant - if captain makes an effort to navigate calmly. Yesterday was the opposite, with loud music and “fun” i.e. dangerous manouvering. This is not advertised on the website. I am tempted to report dangerous navigation to port authorities.…”

“The van broke down on the side of the road the first 15 minutes of the tour. We had to wait another 45 minutes for another van to pick us up to go to the first stop. After our first stop, our tour guide said we would be getting a coach bus. We waiting for an hour and half for the coach bus. Once it arrived, we went to Krka National Park. Finding the boat to Skradin was also confusing. Tour guide did help people find the boat location. Due to the delays, some people had to cancel their afternoon plans. The national park only has one waterfall. I recommend…”
